About

Carmen Choirs: Singing Together, Building Community

Carmen Choirs is dedicated to bringing together singers of all levels—from beginners to professionals—in a warm and supportive environment. Our choirs offer a space for members to grow musically while experiencing the physical, mental, and social benefits of singing in a choir. Through rehearsals and performances, singers explore a wide range of choral styles, guided by expert directors who are passionate about the artistry and technique of choral music.

Our concerts and outreach performances invite diverse, multi-generational audiences to engage with the cultural arts. These events are free and open to the public, with the opportunity for attendees to contribute donations in support of our mission.

Carmen KC produces two to four concerts annually in the Kansas City metropolitan area, often collaborating with other local and regional choral groups to create enriching musical experiences.

Our vision extends beyond Kansas City, as we aim to inspire the formation of Carmen Choirs in communities across the country, fostering the joy of singing and community connection everywhere.

Carmen Choirs are treble vocalists dedicated to creating excellent music. The choirs unite members of all ages to sing together in a supportive and encouraging community.
